Help your customers prepare their vehicles for winter

Posted by: , Posted on: - Categories: News and updates

A Highways Agency survey has found that almost half of motorists in England don’t even carry out the most basic of checks on their vehicle before winter sets in.

Now is the time to encourage your customers to get kitted out with a scraper, de-icer, warm clothes and blankets, torch, boots, first aid kit, jump leads, a spade, a road atlas and sunglasses (for the winter glare).

The Highways Agency also suggests people consider a pre-winter check-up for their vehicle – things like wiper and tyre checks, fluid levels and electrics.

You can promote these services to your customers using the attached poster to print off and display, or point people to the advice on the web at www.highways.gov.uk/winter
