Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency – does the name change affect your business?

Posted by: , Posted on: - Categories: News and updates

Many of you may already have heard that VOSA and DSA are now merging and will be replaced with the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency – DVSA. There will be a gradual introduction of the new agency name ahead of the formal launch in April.

Forthcoming new DVSA logoAlthough DVSA will formally launch in April, DSA and VOSA are still trading as separate bodies until 1 April 2015. Any of our customers who wish to pay by cheque for our services should make these payable to either DSA or VOSA, as appropriate, until 31 March 2015.

The change in name does not affect the ATF or MOT garage logos, which will remain in place. All other documents will still be valid during the transition period.

Customers will be kept informed of any changes that affect them throughout the transition period.

You can still access all of VOSA’s online services in the ususal way on GOV.UK.

For more information about the DVSA, read the full announcement on GOV.UK.
