Sharing data on MOT test results and garages

Posted by: , Posted on: - Categories: News and updates

Last year we told you about some changes proposed by the Department for Transport to improve the experience of garage customers. One of the changes was to look at better ways of sharing data to help customers choose an MOT garage.

In the independent survey of garages last year, 84% of you supported the idea of sharing MOT test results. We are working on our plans to publish test results, but we would like to find out what you think first. We want to know what sort of information you think we could attach to each test result to help the motoring public decide on what garage to use.

We have put together a short survey so that you can send in your ideas. It's very simple and will only take a few minutes to fill out.
